Support for Common Forms of Payment at Chevron

You have many ways to pay your bill at this gas station and convenience store. Chevron has point-of-sale terminals both at its pumps and inside its stores that support contactless payments, so you can use mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay there. Additionally, its apps support PayPal and Venmo and you can use them to pay for gas while you’re filling up your car. And because Chevron stations are franchised, you may be able to use large bills and personal checks there if the franchise owner accepts them.

Many other gas stations don’t accept BNPL, but this one does and you can use Klarna, Zip, and PayPal credit there. You can also use BNPL at Texaco stations if you’re filling up at one of them. Chevron also has store credit cards issued by its partner Synchrony Bank that give you discounts on gas. And it accepts Voyager and Wex fleet cards as well.

You can also use EBT to buy food at Chevron’s Extra Mile convenience stores but you can’t use it to buy gas because of the EBT program rules. You can’t use EBT to pay for a delivery order from these convenience stores, though, because Chevron doesn’t participate in the SNAP online purchasing pilot program. More Things to Know About Chevron

This company sells premium gas with additional additives that prevent damage to your engine and reduce your auto maintenance costs. Like other premium gas stations such as Shell and Valero, it’s unlikely that Chevron will have the lowest gas prices in your town but many drivers go there anyway because its gas is high quality. In my town, 7-Eleven and independent stations often have the lowest gas prices but they don’t sell premium fuel.

While Chevron’s Extra Mile convenience stores don’t have a signature drink like 7-Eleven and Circle K’s stores do, they do sell lots of refreshing sodas and energy drinks as well as other snacks like trail mix and peanuts. They’re often open all night as well, which is convenient.

Other Places Where You Can Buy Gas With Apple Pay

You can also buy premium gas at Valero stations. These stations often have Circle K convenience stores attached because Valero sold its convenience store division to Circle K several years ago.

Another place where you can buy fuel with protective additives is Shell. Its stations typically have Food Mart convenience stores and are often open 24 hours.

With both stand-alone convenience stores and gas stations, 7-Eleven is a common sight in Southern California. It has low gas prices but doesn’t put additional protective additives in its gas.

You’ll often see Circle K convenience stores at gas stations with different brands. Circle K has partnerships with many gas stations.

You can also buy premium gas at 76 stations and many of them have 24-hour convenience stores attached to them as well.

Another option for premium gas is Mobil. Mobil stations often have Mobil Marts where you can buy food and snacks as well.
