Marco’s Pizza Payment Methods

The front of a Marco's Pizza restaurant.

Marco’s Pizza serves pizza, salads, and subs. One noteworthy thing about this pizzeria is that it serves several types of sub sandwiches so you could also consider it a sub sandwich shop. It also serves several types of salads, although other pizzerias typically do that as well. Marco’s Pizza also serves lots of delivery customers. While some of its competitors rely on third-party food delivery services, this company’s restaurants have their own fleets of delivery vehicles.

Marco’s Pizza has higher prices than some quick-service pizzerias and uses high-quality ingredients, so this pizzeria could be considered a fast-casual restaurant. Like most pizzerias, this restaurant charges additional fees for each topping you add to your pizza. Some fast-casual pizzerias such as Blaze Pizza and MOD Pizza have fixed-price offers where you can select several toppings and pay the same price. Anyway, here are the payment methods that Marco’s Pizza accepts.

Does Marco’s Pizza Accept Major Credit Cards?

Marco’s Pizza accepts Visa, American Express, Mastercard, and Discover cards. It accepts both debit cards and credit cards.

Does Marco’s Pizza Accept Mobile Payment Methods?

Marco’s Pizza accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and other contactless payment methods for orders at its restaurants. I confirmed this information by looking up the Apple Maps profile of the Marco’s Pizza restaurant.

Marco’s Pizza also has rewards apps for both the iPhone and Android phones. You can use these apps to make both pickup and delivery orders. Its apps don’t accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, though.

Does Marco’s Pizza Accept International Payment Methods?

Since Marco’s Pizza accepts Discover cards, it’s likely that it can also accept JCB and UnionPay cards by processing them through the Discover network. It can also use this process to accept RuPay global cards. Pizzerias are often popular with vegetarians and it’s possible to make a sub sandwich without meat as well so tourists who don’t eat meat may want to know about this.

Does Marco’s Pizza Accept EBT?

Marco’s Pizza doesn’t accept EBT. I checked the lists of Restaurant Meals program participants in Ventura, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange, and San Bernardino counties and I didn’t see this restaurant on those lists. Restaurants must enroll in these programs to accept this payment method.

In Southern California, quick-service pizzerias like Pizza Hut often accept EBT after signing up for the Restaurant Meals program but fast-casual restaurants like Blaze Pizza typically don’t accept this payment method. Quick-service restaurants typically focus on serving basic meals at low prices so they’re better positioned to serve customers who use EBT. This is another sign that Marco’s Pizza should be classified as a fast-casual restaurant.

Does Marco’s Pizza Accept Other Payment Methods?

Marco’s Pizza has its own branded gift cards.

What Are Alternatives to Marco’s Pizza That Accept Apple Pay?

MOD Pizza is a fast-casual pizza restaurant that serves fixed-price pizzas where you can add multiple toppings and pay the same price. Some of its restaurants have drive-thru lanes where you can pick up your order.

Blaze Pizza is another fast-casual restaurant that prepares pizzas quickly and offers fixed-price deals. It also offers vegan chorizo as a topping and I haven’t seen that at other pizzerias.

Pieology is also a fast-casual pizzeria that offers fixed-price deals. It also has a few menu options for customers with special diets.

Domino’s is a quick-service pizzeria that has many locations in Southern California. It’s a high-tech restaurant that often adopts technology before its competitors.
