Lassens Payment Methods

Lassens Natural Food & Vitamins, or Lassens, is a health food store. This is a specialized grocery store that differs in a few ways from traditional grocery stores. For example, this store sells supplements and vitamins but doesn’t have a traditional pharmacy. It also carries a wide selection of natural and organic foods, including fresh fruit and vegetables in its produce department. Lassens has all of the departments that you’d expect to see at a grocery store, so it has a frozen food section, a deli, a produce department, aisles full of packaged foods such as cereal, and so on.

It also stocks a much wider selection of vegan and vegetarian food than a traditional grocery store, and that includes the prepared meals in its deli as well as the entrees in its frozen food section. This isn’t a vegan store, though, and you can still buy meat there. Lassens has affordable prices for a health food store. It isn’t a discount store, though, so you might need to use a credit card to finance your purchase. Some of the products it sells, such as health supplements, can also be costly. Here are the payment methods that you can use at Lassens.

Does Lassens Accept Major Credit Cards?

Lassens accepts credit cards and debit cards. Stores must support these payment methods to accept payments from mobile wallets.

Does Lassens Accept Mobile Payment Methods?

Lassens accepts Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and other contactless payment methods for in-store purchases. This was confirmed by the health food store’s window sticker, which said tap-to-pay preferred. Some shoppers prefer contactless payment methods so they can avoid touching point-of-sale machines. And some stores also want their customers to use contactless payment methods because they’re concerned about health risks to their employees.

Lassens doesn’t have an iPhone or Android app. That’s noteworthy because most grocery stores do have mobile apps, and this includes other health food stores. While this health food store has multiple locations in Southern California, it is competing against larger health food retailers that have more resources for app development.

Lassens doesn’t accept EBT for online orders. It doesn’t have a mobile app and it’s not enrolled in the SNAP online purchasing pilot program. If you’re looking for an alternative, Whole Foods and Sprouts have enrolled in this program so they can accept EBT for online orders.
