This fried chicken restaurant accepts cash, credit cards, and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. You can also use your mobile wallet to pay for your order in the drive-thru lane if you visit a KFC location that has a drive-thru lane. If you use a third-party delivery service that accepts cash on delivery such as DoorDash, you can also use cash on delivery to pay for your bucket of chicken. KFC doesn’t accept PayPal, though.

In California and other states where the Restaurant Meals program is available, you can use EBT to pay for your meal at participating restaurants. In Southern California there are many KFC restaurants that accept EBT. Some of the counties where these restaurants are located are Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego. This payment option isn’t available at all KFC locations, though.

You can also use EBT to buy food from KFC/Taco Bell and KFC/Pizza Hut restaurants that participate in the RMP. There are also a few other fried-chicken restaurants that accept EBT at some, but not all of their locations in Southern California as well. These restaurants include Wingstop and Popeyes.

More Background Information for KFC

This restaurant is best known for its secret blend of 11 herbs and spices that it uses to flavor its fried chicken. This seasoning was invented by its founder, Colonel Sanders, whose image appears on its signs. Colonel Sanders also founded this restaurant late in his life and this inspiring story demonstrates that it’s never too late to start a business.

And while there are several new fried-chicken restaurants that are gaining popularity now, this was the restaurant that established this niche. Unlike many other fast-food restaurants, KFC doesn’t serve burgers. Its sister companies, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut, don’t serve burgers either.
