Jamba Payment Methods

A Jamba Juice smoothie shop.

If you’re looking for a cold refreshment on a hot summer day, you might want to visit Jamba. This smoothie shop and juice bar was originally known as Jamba Juice. It has now shortened its name to Jamba but some of its shops may still display their old Jamba Juice signs. Jamba has smoothie shops in malls throughout Southern California and I once visited one of its San Diego locations. It has many shops in the Los Angeles area as well.

In addition to smoothies, Jamba also serves acai bowls, oatmeal, fruit juice, and wheatgrass shots. And like other smoothie shops, it can also add boosts such as vitamins and nutritional supplements to your smoothie. Another noteworthy thing about this smoothie shop is that it operates a few co-branded locations in partnership with other restaurants. I haven’t seen other smoothie shops do that but I have seen other stores with pop-up smoothie shops inside them. Anyway, here are the payment methods you can use at Jamba.

Does Jamba Accept Major Credit Cards?

Jamba accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa cards. It accepts both debit and credit cards.

Jamba also accepts cash. And it also has partnerships with third-party delivery services that accept cash, such as DoorDash, so if you use these services you can also use cash to pay for delivery orders.

Does Jamba Accept Mobile Payment Methods?

Jamba accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and other contactless payment methods for in-store purchases. I confirmed this by looking up the profiles of several of its smoothie shops in my area on Apple Maps. Jamba was an early adopter of contactless payments because of its focus on convenience. Its smoothie shops often have other amenities that provide convenience as well such as drive-thru lanes.

Jamba also has iPhone and Android apps that you can use to make pickup orders or delivery orders. You’ll get rewards for using these apps to order smoothies as well.

Does Jamba Accept International Payment Methods?

It’s likely that Jamba can accept UnionPay, JCB, and RuPay global cards by processing them through the Discover network. This is another restaurant that’s popular with vegans and vegetarians because it has fruit-based entrees as well as smoothies made with soy milk.

Does Jamba Accept EBT?

Jamba doesn’t accept EBT at its Southern California smoothie shops. I checked the lists of Restaurant Meals program participants in Ventura, Orange, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties and did not see Jamba on those lists. Restaurants have to sign up for the Restaurant Meals program to accept EBT.

It’s not unusual that Jamba doesn’t accept this payment option, though, because other smoothie shops and juice bars such as Robeks Juice don’t accept EBT either. If you’re looking for alternatives, many fast-food restaurants accept EBT in Southern California and these restaurants frequently sell fruit juice and may sell other fruit products such as smoothies as well.

Does Jamba Have Its Own Payment Methods?

Jamba has gift cards that you can buy on its website. This is a popular smoothie shop so you can also find Jamba gift cards at independently operated grocery stores and big-box stores.

What’s Another Useful Fact About Jamba?

Some of Jamba’s smoothies are seasonal so they’re only available for a limited time.
