Buffalo Exchange Payment Methods

The front of a Buffalo Exchange store.

Buffalo Exchange operates thrift shops where you can buy vintage outfits and sell your old clothes. This store is very popular with shoppers who like retro styles because you can find authentic outfits from previous decades there. Of course, the selection at each Buffalo Exchange store is different because each store stocks clothes that other customers have previously sold to the store. Like some other discount stores, Buffalo Exchange relies on the treasure hunt business model. You can find unexpected bargains at its stores if you visit a store to see what it has in stock.

Buffalo Exchange stores sell new clothing as well, although the main appeal of this retailer is that it’s a vintage store because many department stores sell new clothing. Buffalo Exchange is also an environmentally friendly store because it’s encouraging its customers to reuse clothing instead of wearing it a few times and then throwing it away. It’s also one of the few stores where you can leave with more money in your bank account. Additionally, because this store appeals to customers who are into retro fashion and music, you may also see fliers for local shows there. Here are the payment methods you can use at Buffalo Exchange.

Does Buffalo Exchange Accept Major Credit Cards?

Buffalo Exchange accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards. It accepts both debit cards and credit cards. It also accepts cash and it will also pay you cash for your used clothing.

Does Buffalo Exchange Accept Mobile Payment Methods?

Buffalo Exchange accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and other contactless payment methods for in-store purchases. I confirmed this by looking up the store’s profile on Apple Maps. This store doesn’t accept PayPal for in-store purchases, though.

Buffalo Exchange doesn’t have iPhone or Android apps but that’s not surprising because it’s a thrift store. It doesn’t have an online store so you’ll have to visit one of its brick-and-mortar stores to see what vintage clothing it has in stock.

Buffalo Exchange does support PayPal as an online payout method. You can also sell your clothing by mailing it to the store and you can receive payment through PayPal for the clothing you sold. This is noteworthy because I haven’t seen any other thrift shops or clothing stores that allow you to do this.

Buffalo Exchange accepts Discover cards, so it’s very likely that it can also accept JCB and UnionPay cards by processing them through the Discover network. It can also use the same processing method to accept RuPay global cards.

Does Buffalo Exchange Accept EBT?

Buffalo Exchange doesn’t accept EBT. It’s a specialized vintage clothing store that doesn’t sell groceries so it can’t accept this form of payment. There are a few discount clothing stores that sell enough groceries to accept this payment method, though.

Does Buffalo Exchange Accept Buy Now, Pay Later?

Buffalo Exchange doesn’t accept Klarna, Afterpay, Zip, Affirm, or Sezzle. It doesn’t have an online store and it doesn’t accept PayPal for in-store purchases so you can’t use PayPal’s Pay in 4 there either. So this vintage store might not accept any BNPL apps.

Does Buffalo Exchange Accept Other Payment Methods?

Buffalo Exchange sells gift cards and e-gift cards. You can use these gift cards at any of this retailer’s standard thrift stores, but the outlet stores don’t accept them, according to the store’s website.
